Celebrate the heritage of many of our past and present firefighters with a traditional St. Patrick’s Day’s feast of corned beef and cabbage rounded out by appetizers, soda bread, beverages and dessert. Irish Dancing students from the Doherty Petri School of Irish Dancing will perform. The LDA Project acoustical band will provide music.
We will also celebrate and honor the Civil War soldiers who were born or enlisted in or lived in the Town of Mamaroneck. The Historical Fire Company and the Mamaroneck Historical Society have conducted research to identify an updated list of names, and the Historical Fire Company has funded a new Civil War Soldiers Memorial to be installed in front of the Mamaroneck VFW Post 9O. We will display a replica of the Memorial Plaque at the Irish Night event.
